This was a first-time idea for a project with a theme 'transformation of a human body' and was a predecessor of the water monster costume. I thought of making a jacket or a vest out of granny squares and three-dimensional spikes on top of them. The theme was self-isolation and solitude, and I took inspiration from rose-thorns. When I showed it to my art class teacher, she said that it was too simple and didn't change the human silhouette that much. Therefore, this idea was rejected and I instead took on the subject of a water monster. But I am still willing to make this project some day.
